Drama Night

SCENE ONE

Host: Welcome to AMACA, All men are created alike- Twins Edition! Today we have 3 special twins coming on this show. They will be asked various questions about their twin and the one with the most answers correct will win the grand prize of _______! So without further ado, let’s have our contestants come on in!

[Cassie and Casey come in]

The first pair, Cassie and Casey!

Cassie: Hello I’m Cassie

Casey: -and I’m Casey

Host [mutters and quickly runs through the profile]: Huh ang moh. Si ang moh. One tomboy, the other plain Jane…aiyoh, so it’s Cassie and Jane lah!

[Shoves them away]

Ok, go and sit down now.

[Cassie and Casey sit down]

Next up, we have Germaine and Geraldine.

[eyes get bigger; mutters]

WHAO rich one!

Germaine: Good day. I am highly complimented and honoured to be permitted to express myself on such a prestigious national platform. Allow me to extend my thanks, and be aware that I am filled with the warmest appreciation.

Geraldine: Hey-ah, like ohmygod! This is like so totally cool! I’m on national TV! [Mutters] oh no! My face! Is it okay?

[takes mirror out from handbag and starts powdering]

Like this is so totally not okay! My make-up! Ugh! [Stomps to seat]

Host: RIGHT

[Makes face at Geraldine]

Lastly, we have Adeline and Adelle!

[Adelle and Adeline come in; host stares at them]

What? You mean you are…twins? [Checks profile list thing]

Adeline: Hello I’m Adeline!

Adelle: Hello I’m Adelle! And we’re really glad to be here!

[move to seat]

Host: Okay! You’ve seen all our contestants, so let us begin our round of questions where I will ask one of the twins a question about the other twin, and they would have to write down what they think the correct answer is on the board in front of them. When the bell rings, they would have to show me their answers. So lets begin with Cassie and, uh- Jane.

[Reads cue card]

So Jane, when was the last time your sister went to the movie?

[Quickly rings the bell; Cassie hasn’t written anything; Casey pays no attention since her name IS NOT supposed to be Jane]

JANE. Uh, CASEY.

[Casey startles]

Oh too bad, this group shall forfeit this round since the other team member has not answered the question. Next one, Geraldine and Germaine. Okay, here’s a toughie, Geraldine, what’s the colour of Germaine’s hair?

[Hums, showing that host is giving them a lot of time]

Geraldine: Like hello? We’ve been waiting for eons? Like duh, her hair is like BROWN. Like, we’d totally score? Gosh.

Germaine: But no of course. According to my investigation, and consultation of Professor Brown, my hair is rich umber at the roots, gently fading in a gradient through auburn, burnt sienna, sepia, russet, and amber, to ochre, perhaps even with a slight tinge of amaranthine under halogen lights. NOT brown.

Host: Anyway, they all mean the same. That’s a point for the team. Now moving on, Adeline and Adelle…

[snarls at them]

Dum-dee-dum. So let me ask you Adelle, on average, how much weight does Adeline put on a day?

[quickly scribbles down answer]

Adelle: Uh my mummy say it’s never put on weight one. It’s just that she is a bit fat. But my daddy says she is very fat. So I don’t know…

Adeline: Dearie, gosh, that was a mean question in fact. Satisfied or not, I don’t know, I don’t want to know, and I will never want to know.

Geraldine [cuts in]: Yeah, like duh, you put on too much weight till the weighing scale breaks! ‘course you don’t know!

Host: [sniggers] Ok. Enough said. We shall go on a short commercial break now. Stay tuned!

SCENE 2

Casey and Cassie talk to each other while the rest are all scattered, talking to other people. Director comes in.

Director: Ready, Action!

Host: Welcome back, to AMACA. This would be our last round of questions, and the last chance for our contestants to score points! Please bear in mind that the judges also play a part for the points, as the players would also be graded on their co-operation and personalities. So let’s begin!

Cassie, now let me ask you about your sister there. Well, how many times has she taken coloured photos? Heh, since she’s so white, most of the time they are black and white right? [Snigger]

[Cassie and Casey both glare at the host and refuse to write anything down]

Cassie: As far as I am concerned, we do have coloured clothes, and if you hadn’t realized, our skin’s not white like your skirt.

Casey: Yes apparently, we would forfeit this round again like the many other rounds thanks to your ridiculous questions.

Host: Whoa okay. Now for Geraldine and Germaine. So Germaine, could you tell me how many people your sister has killed with the stench of her perfume?

[Geraldine and Germaine look very upset]

Okay, I mean, what kind of perfume does your sister use?

Geraldine: Oh, that’s totally like a give away?

Germaine: Yes, it’s a mixture of the exotic flavors of Jasmine, Rose and Tulip, with a pinch of Daffodils which create the fragrance which is now wafting in the air- Estee Lauder’s one and only-

Geraldine: PUHLEESE. Is it that difficult to say? It’s simply, Estee Lauder’s Loi d'amnistie. Like duh that’s what you meant.

Germaine: uh- Yes, actually.

Host: Fantastic, it seems like this team is leading! They have answered all questions correctly! It’s all up to the last team to change their fate! Okay, our last team, Adelle and Adeline. Let’s see, Adeline, how many times has Adelle gone into the hospital. [Mutters] since she’s so fragile, and thin.

[Bell rings]

Adeline: Oh, none, besides when she was born.

Adelle: Yes, if you consider that then it would be one.

Adeline: But it is subjective.

Adelle: So, we’re correct I suppose.

Host [snarls]: Yes I suppose. So let us tally our scores.

[Someone comes in and hands host results]

So our winner is… [Gasps] what is this! No, this cannot be!

[Stomps out, furious]

Ok, just for the sake of being weird, I have done my best to add what notes all the Angklung members are playing, next to their CCA. Unfortunately, because I am an idiot, this list is not a definitive edition, or whatever you call it. yayy we won rgs book day! wrinkle in time! our doors were so nice man. ah its a pity i didnt get to see our presentation together with 113 cos i had to go support table tennis competition, i think. ah those involved, good job! erms for the misc section right, i think you can put stuff like:

And the events are mainly birthdays and public / school holidays (like what Adelle said). Cos you guys don't want to include PTs / SAs and stuff, yea? Oh ya. And maybe we don't have to update the events for June cos the whole of June is the sch hols. And hey everyone, good luck for your SAs / PFT --gasp!-- (: Erms.. and in case some of you haven't realised, there's a spacing in m. xiao wei's name and there isn't one in s. xiaowei's name. So xiao (space) wei is m. xiao wei and xiaowei is s. xiaowei. So erm...>_< you guys don't have to include their surnames cos you can just tell which one is who by the spacing. Tks.

hello. i really haven't posted here for such a long time!! and the last post was on april 7! oh dear.

so anyway i think we should pool more money into the class fund. so we can ENJOY sometimes!! i think it'd be fun of we did that sometimes...but it's entirely ok. it's the class's decision...anyway.

so how did you all find geog summative today? it was fine, just that i didn't have tome to elaborate about my last few poinbts cos there wasn't enough time. >< but i guess the rest should be quite ok. keep your fingers crossed everyone. hopefully mr wolfe will be so happy with our little notes that he is a little more lenient when he's m,arking our scripts. LOL

hihi, i had my cpr course today. and i passed!! haha. the examiner was reallly nice u know. i got most of the bandaging wrong but he passed me. =) some of the pics were really gross though. especially the broken fracture one. sheesh i really like holidays. what a nice time to relax and slack!ha but i still got to study for geog formative. totally confused abt the covergent and divergent. gotta take dinner. bye!

Hi everyone!!

Okay, do you want to have class t-shirt? (in the name of class spirit, pls say YES!) In my opinion, we shld make our class t-shirt earlier so we can wear it for the rest of the year, while we're still in the class:)Tricia, Si min, sam ang, junyu and i have discussed it a bit. This is the plan: In the front, at the top left-hand corner, we will write 110. For the back, everyone will come up with a small sth to put beside her name, and this thing represent what the person likes/is. The base will be black but we haven't decided what the other colour will be. Either white or pink. I strongly recommend PINK! bcos it looks nice with black and few shirts are black and pink. but si min thinks black and white is better(that's so common!). if abt half the class wants black and pink and the other half wants black and white, then we'll order 2 different sets with the same design just in different colour. of course that will be more expensive, so we shld just decide on black and pink, yes? That's all we discussed so far. Assuming we agree to have a class shirt, everyone pls think of a symbol to represent oneself. Okkies?

Woosh. I'm in a good mood today. So don't worry abt me complaining and swearing here.. haha. Founders' Day was so fun today la... I like almost every part of it. Like the cake. And the idea of Athena's unique. Like the pic of the gate. Like the last part where those ppl in blue were singing the finale... Hm. First time I saw Ms Evelyn Norris in real life la... Wow. Hello one-ten!

Now that I know that my angel and Andrea has access to our blog, I feel kinda weird. Yes. Weird. (Sorry! No offence!) 'Generation gap', I guess. HAHAHAHA. lol. 1 year difference only... I Ok nvm. I'm not my usual cheerful and crazy self today. Bad mood, I guess. Read on, and you'll get what I mean.

Anyways. I got a C for my apron. Most ppl got B+ or B or B-. And guess what. I got a C. Anyway. I think my sewing SUCKS. Seriously. I can't sew la. Even with the machine. I can't thread the thread thru the needle. Cos the hole's too small. And the thread gets stuck. I get pricked by the needle. How LAME is that la, I ask you... And even if I hand sew my stuff. The lines are not straight. And they turn out so ugly. Ya. Back to the topic. So I got a C (how many times have I said that?). But I'm quite proud of my apron la. I re-sewed lots of parts. Luckily I did that lor. Otherwise I wld hv gotten C - instead. :) I don't know how I could have gotten a C.

Anyways. Hm. Bad day today. Geog test. Um. Stupid la. Misinterpreted the last question. And 2nd question. Minus 1 mark liao. And stupid Lit. I didn't do my hw. 1st time for Lit, k... and like what? I have to sit outside and do it lah. So embarrassing, I tell you. Luckily I wasn't the only one there lor. Sally and Jamie were there too. And some of you guys didn't have to stare at us. Basic courtesy, k. :( Sry. Bad mood la. Oh ya. And I didn't do Hist either. No time la. Had to study for Geog what.

Juz went for red cross yesterday. And they explained the whole code of conduct thingy to us. And it goes into our record if our hair flies all over our faces when we're doing foot drill. And I think that will affect our promotion. And we're supposed to greet our ma'ams. (Pronounced as: merms). In school. Even if it isn't during red cross. And if you guys see us (the red crossers) do that, don't laugh, k. Basic courtesy. Serious business. AND when we're doing foot drill or standing very still there, don't make us laugh too. We fidget and we die. Very strict one lor. Hm. But in a way, being strict is quite good too la. Discipline mah. I'm going for red cross enrolment camp on wed during the march hols. Somehow, I'm not really looking forward to it. And we're going to west coast to climb the structures there nxt wed.

Ok. better go now. Die liao. Better finish hw. Or else I'll definitely die la. Mum's complaining abt how late I sleep (although i only sleep at 10+).. Sorry for such a long post la. Must have bored you guys out.. .Bad mood. Ok. Hm. Will be cheerful again the next time i blog, k? I'll keep my word.

hello everyone!!!
this 2 weeks have been so rush so this is only my first time posting:) sorry...i will TRY to write more often.
oh, btw, why don't ,like, half the class want to change seats??? Changing seats is promoting class bonding bcos we get to grow closer to more ppl. It's not like we won't be able to talk to the ppl we're sitting next to next time...getting to know more about more ppl is not exactly a bad thing...
anyway, moving on to the next topic...ppl who are going for sports fest heats or finals and have not received my pep talk, come and look for ME!!! My pep talk is VERY encouraging u know...it will boost your confidence level...it's so popular that some have tried to imitate it (imitation is the highest form of flattery:) but luckily i copyrighted it FIRST. haha:)
Okkies, gtg study...so many tests and som much homework!!! Looking forward to 2moro when we get to SLACK!!!
